Peninsula Community Preschool Inc. offers high quality early childhood education for three, four and five year old children in the Eastern Suburbs of Wellington.
Convenient location
We are conveniently located in Strathmore and are very handy to all of the Eastern suburbs of Wellington. Our site offers stress-free drop-off and pick-up of your child. We are a 5 minute walk from the Strathmore shops and bus stop.
Well-resourced, purpose built facility
Our building is a modern, purpose built childcare facility. Our open-plan interior is bright, light and colourful with a separate reading room, art space and music area. Our large outside play area includes a big sandpit, a carpentry workshop, a courts area and a working vegetable garden. We are a well-resourced Preschool with an array of equipment available for the children to use.
Our Values and Philosophy
Our key values are respect, kindness, caring for the environment and family and community. Our philosophy is to encourage all children to learn with and alongside others in a safe and harmonious environment that is stimulating and challenging to them.
Great ratios and mixed-aged setting 
We cater for up to 26 children and have a team of qualified, certified teachers. We have a mix of 3,4 and 5 year old children from a range of diverse cultures and nationalities.
Younger children have older children to look up to, while older children can develop leadership qualities as they learn to help and guide younger children.
